can everyone participate?

yes

is this entirely free?

yes

how can it be entirely free?

this website is funded by
1) traffic to website = advertising & sponsorships for the website
2) see: "how is the winning item decided in a page?"

how do i collect my cash prizes?

paypal sends it to you automatically.
you can set up frequency of sends, etc

do i need to sign up with paypal before i click a "winner" button?

no. if you win, paypal lets you know and you can take it from there.

do i need to register to click a "winner" button?

the first time you click a "winner" button you will be able to enter your info for receiving win prizes, choose your privacy and other options and you're good to go.

is this a betting/gambling type site?

not at all.
a betting/gambling site means you bet or put down money in order to have a chance to win. this site requires no money at all from you to win cash prizes. you simply click your choice for winner and see what happens.
(see "how can it be entirely free?")

do i win or do the items win?

if you clicked "winner" on an item, and that item wins, you both win. you win the cash prize, the item wins that competition.
see also: "how is the winning item decided in a page?"

what happens to an item when it wins a competition ?

it jumps up in visibility in the website/app.
(click here for an explanation about "visibility")

what if i want an item to win but i dont care about winning the cash prizes?

you can opt out of receiving cash prizes, or give your prizes away!

can i click "winner" on the same item again and again?

and again.
(so can everyone else)
(it's robot-proof)
however, you do NOT win more money by clicking the same "winner" button. you can win more money by clicking other "winner" buttons in other pages.
see: "how is the winning item decided in a competition ?"
see: "do i win more cash by clicking "winner" more times?"

can i click different "winner" buttons on the same page?

no, you cannot click different "winner" buttons on the same page, no.

i'm confused: i can only click "winner" for ONE item per page, but i can click that "winner" button AGAIN AND AGAIN, and i can also do this on every page?

you're not confused at all. that's exactly how it works. interact with as many pages as you want. click "winner" as many times as you want. but you cannot click "winner" on 2 or more different items that are in the same page. for any page you interact with, you can only click that "winner" button for one of the items in that page. but, again, you can click it again, and again... u got it
(as stated elsewhere, if you click the same "winner" button again and again in the same page, it helps that item win that competition but it does not make you win more money. if you want to win more money, you must "play" in different pages.
see: do i win more cash by clicking "winner" more times?
see: "how is the winning item decided in a page?")

do i win more cash by clicking "winner" more times?

YES on different pages / NO on the same page
NO: even if you click THE SAME "WINNER" BUTTON again and again and that item wins the competition, you still only win $0.10
(see: "why would i click the same "winner" button again and again?")
YES: you win $0.10 for every comp page for which the one item that you clicked for actually wins that page's competition.
in other words: if you guess the winner on page 1, you win $0.10, if you guess the winner of page 2, you win another $0.10. if you guess the winner of page 365, you win another $0.10. there's a gazillion pages to choose from.
hypothetically, if you click "winner" on 1,000 DIFFERENT PAGES and all 1,000 items win their comp, you win $100
but the point is NOT that you're sure to "bat a thousand." the point is that you're sure to get $0.10 for every item that wins their comp and for which you clicked "winner" in that comp.
statistically, winning $100 takes not 1,000 "winner" button clicks but 5,000 "winner" button" clicks, because on each page you have a 1-in-5 chance of clicking the right "winner" button.
clicking "winner" buttons involves basic verification system to make sure it's human (not robot/software/automatic) clicks. so, if you click 1 "winner" button once per page, statistically, it takes 17 minutes to click "winner" on 50 pages (load page, click 1 "winner" button, verify, load new page, and so on), which, with 5 "winner" button choices per page, statistically means you click the correct "winner" button 1 out of 5 times, i.e. statistically you win $0.10 out of 5 pages, i.e. $1 out of 50 pages, which means that statistically, you win $1 in 17 minutes. you may win more or less, faster or slower, but the website is designed for those statistics. current stats are always visible and clearly indicated.

if it doesn't pay anything to click the SAME "winner" button more than once, why would i click the SAME "winner" button again and again?

as shakespeare said, "let me count the ways."
in this case you don't care about you winning $, you care about that item winning that comp, for whatever reasons.

can i create new pages? / can i bring items to the site/app?

yep. just click where it says "ADD WHAT YOU WANT"

is there a limit to how much i can win?

basic pages: $150/week. special-event one-time pages $500 (5 hundred) to $5,000,000 (5 million)

is every page enabled for winning cash prizes?

ideally, yes.
it depends on website/app current resources.
in any case, before you click a "winner" button, the system will clearly indicate whether cash-prize winning is available at that particular time.

when does a page's competition end?

it says on the page.
if you won, it'll automatically add $0.10 to your account at that time.

how is the winning item decided in a page?

at the end of the competiton, the item that has the most "points" wins.
you can give an item points for free by clicking "winner" and/or pay to give points for that item.
IMPORTANT: paying to give points to an item essentially only really serves to ADVERTISE/ENDORSE/SUPPORT that item. the website/app is for those of you who want to win money as well as for those of you who want to spend money to advertise/endorse/support an item. and in fact the website/app is especially for everyone else in between: people who don't play to win cash prizes and people who don't pay to advertise/support items, but just explore and vote for and upload and view items.
items with the most points get higher up in visibility as they move throughout the comp pages. that's regardless of whether they got those points by people paying to advertise/support those items or by people clicking for free again and again to give that item points. more points mean higher visibility in the website/app. so, if you pay for an item to get points, you are paying to advertise/support that item's visibility. (click here for an explanation about "visibility"). the sytem is set up for total transparent fairness/balance between free and pay click economics and relationships.
CURRENT PAY & FREE CLICK NUMBERS:
free "winner" click = item gets 1 point per free click.
pay "winner" click = item gets 50 points per $ you pay.

(if you want to pay, after you click the "winner" button, you choose the "pay" option and enter your chosen $ amount. current rate is clearly displayed.)
if the current pay rate is 50 points per dollar, and you're a big business that wants top world advertising visibility for your item, and pay1 million bucks, you give that item 50 million points.
that's the same as 50 million people freely clickin "winner" once each, or 50 thousand people freely clickin "winner" 1,000 times each, or... u get the point.

what happens to the items that don't win?

each item's visibility within the website/app is adjusted automatically after each competition.
(you may also enable item tracking, item/category targeting, etc.)
note: you do not win cash for items that come in second, third, etc in that competition. you win cash if the item for which you clicked "winner" WINS that competition. which means: if there are 5 items in a competition, you have a 1-in-5 chance of winning cash by clicking the right "winner" button. (for limits on cash winning, see: "is there a limit to how much i can win?")

how do i find out which items win?

if you clicked "winner" on any item that wins, paypal will email you.
(daily/weekly/monthly summary sorta thing.)
and of course you can always check the website

is a page competition simply "click" the winner button and see which item wins?

yes.
(but with seven billion people on earth...)

(advanced) is it a competition-of-the-items or a new way to get cash / do business?

it's nextgen game theory (with real cash prizes). you can just click and do your thing. but, hey, if you like econ theory, this is a "wild sketch/idea."
and of course keep in mind that the website/app can do many other things as well.
